Google, the largest internet company, offers great convenience to UAE residents
The Gulf Times reports that the dialogue between Dubai Transport Authority and Google has been fruitful and convenient for customers.
According to the report, UAE residents will now be able to see the arrival times and times of public transportation on Google Maps.
U.S. Transportation Administration officials told consumers yesterday that all bus routes and times can now be seen on Google Maps. He said that users would still be notified via Google Maps even if the bus was late or had too many people on board.
According to the relevant authorities, passengers on buses will be notified via Google Maps, including catching up or being late.
According to the report, Dubai is the first state in the United Arab Emirates to transmit public transport data to Google Maps, and the facility is used in 100 countries around the world.
“The purpose of this plan is to provide residents with the best service so they can enjoy their journey and avoid wasting time,” said Khalid Awadi, director of the Transport Systems and Public Transport Agency.
